Annual membership meeting...

Our annual membership meeting will be held at the Atascadero Library on May 9 at 10:30am. New officers will be elected at this time.

Thanks to a generous grant from Sally G. Knight, in honor of Richard H. and Marilee Giese, the featured speaker at the meeting will be local historian and author Marilyn Darnell who will talk about Robert Edgar Jack, one of San Luis Obipo's most influential citizens.    More info...

Atascadero's Dancing with Our Stars a huge success...

Thanks to our wonderful community and many dedicated volunteers, the sold-out 2-night event netted $66,000. The People's Choice award for both Friday and Saturday went to Vicky Morse & Chris Harmon. The Saturday night overall champions were: first place - Vicky Morse & Chris Harmon (raised $11,000), second place - Maria Allen & Dan Davis, and third place - Robyn Schmidt & Tom Troxel.

The "Good Sport" award was presented to Emcee: Paso Robles Mayor Steve Martin for going beyond the position of Emcee and changing costumes multiple times for the 8 countries represented in the show.

We thank all of our dancers, instructors, and volunteers for putting on an amazing show. A special thank you goes to Jeannie Malik and Frank Sanchez for making it all happen.
